About Rhoda — Educator, Interventionist & Curriculum Designer
Hello and welcome! I’m Rhoda, the educator behind Rhoda Design Studio.
I’m a credentialed elementary school teacher with years of classroom experience spanning elementary grades, high school Art, and currently a 3rd/4th grade combination class. My passion is meeting students exactly where they are — and helping them grow from there.
A Focus on Data-Driven Learning
Over the years, I’ve developed deep expertise in using NWEA MAP Growth data to drive instruction. Understanding a student’s RIT score is just the beginning — the real work is in knowing what to do with that data. I design materials and lessons that target specific RIT score ranges, so teachers can deliver targeted, meaningful instruction rather than one-size-fits-all lessons.

Intervention That Actually Works
I believe every student deserves instruction tailored to their current level of readiness. My resources are built with intervention in mind — whether you’re supporting students who are below grade level, reinforcing foundational skills, or challenging students who are ready to push ahead. My worksheets and curriculum materials are designed to be practical, rigorous, and easy to implement, so you can spend less time searching and more time teaching.
Why I Created Rhoda Design Studio
As a teacher, I know how precious your time is. Between lesson planning, data analysis, parent communication, and everything else on your plate, finding quality intervention materials shouldn’t add to your stress. I created Rhoda Design Studio to give teachers ready-to-use resources that are grounded in student data and designed with differentiation at their core.
I also bring a strong design background to everything I create — with skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and curriculum development — so you get materials that are as visually engaging as they are academically sound.
