Word Sort Lesson with Google Slides

Students will drag and the real words to one snowglobe and the nonsense words to the other snowglobe.

Words are made up nonsense words similar to real CVC words and actual CVC words that they have been practicing and learning to read.

This is great for additional word sorting and reading practice, DIBELS interventions, and homework practice.

While the DIBELS test doesn’t require children to know the difference between real and nonsense words, sorting makes great practice because it ensures that students are actually reading the words in centers, small groups, or individually.

Digital practice with Google Slides can be assigned through Google Classroom, SeeSaw, or other online learning platforms.
